Update #1: Pirated book situation

In case you weren’t sure if mass-blogging about this would make much difference, here’s a quick glimpse at some of my site’s Google Stats today, only three days after I blogged about this book, and only four days after Darren blogged about it on his site. If you Google the book, you’ll find nothing but post after post after post titled “Don’t buy this book.”
Also, check out the backlinks galore pointing back to Darren’s site: http://blogsearch.google.com/blogsearch?hl=en&scoring=d&partner=wordpress&q=link:http://apefluff.com/
And I don’t mind saying I thought it was pretty cool of THE Mr Warren Ellis himself to post it on his blog as well.
Keep spreading the word! And if you’re in Spain or anywhere in Japan or Hong Kong and would like to help, either by calling the stores and/or distributor, or by bringing this to the attention of your local illustration societies, please do! And let us know what happens!
Who knows if we’ll be able to force retailers from selling this book, but so far our efforts have been very powerful! Nerd powers, activate!
More to come.
