Thanks for the link, Luc! Great to hear the advice works for other kinds of freelancers as well.
Your posts are always informative and helpful. Thanks for all your hard work on this one!
I began my career working as an animation artist in Toronto back in 1990. In 1997 I shifted into illustration, when I started publishing a line of greeting cards called ReallyGayCards. I then settled into editorial illustration, and quit animation in 2000.
I soon found myself getting more and more involved in print and web graphics—posters, book covers, web design, etc… Now in 2008, I’m shifting my focus primarily onto web design. A fancy new website is coming soon to reflect this. In the meantime, I’m already busy building sites for other clients!
I live in Vancouver with my partner Doug and our dog Una. I’m part of the Jupiter Project art collective, and I’m an occasional contributor to Drawn!
