Hello! You may have arrived here via Google, or a link on someone else’s site.
Unfortunately I don’t blog much anymore so I’ve removed these pages from the main navigation. You’re welcome to read all you like, though. Use the search box below to look through posts, or dig through the archives here. You can also check out my Tumblr blog instead: http://luclatulippe.tumblr.com/.

"Hi (CLIENT-X), it's (YOUR NAME GOES HERE). We worked on (PROJECT NAME) together a little while back. How's it going? (INSERT SMALL TALK HERE) Well, as you may have guessed, I'm calling to see if you need any illustration work done right now? .... Nothing right now huh? No problem. Maybe on the next project? .... Cool, well thanks for taking my call. I'll keep in touch. Bye!"
I think you could pretty much use this approach in most freelancing industries, including the Web. It’s a great idea and adds that personal touch that most people prefer. Mailouts are so impersonal and rarely make a decent impression.

I may be mistaken but i can remember this advice in your FAQ on one of the previous versions of your website. And this advice is one of many very good advices you had there! I wish you put back on-line that useful FAQ with amazing articles and tutorials you had.
Several years ago your advices helped me a lot in building my freelancing career and I’ll always be thankful to you.
