OCTOBER 2007

After a long rest, a new issue of the newsletter. Once again, with a design update. Also, it should now (I hope) display correctly in all webmail services, especially Gmail and Hotmail. This means back to tables and font-tags, and no CSS. Yeah! In your face, web standards!

Bountee

Merchandise: T-shirts

Closing my Cafepress shop. Focussing on my Bountee shop instead. AND lowering all my prices. How low? I've completely removed my mark-up on everything. That's how low.

Why am I closing my Cafepress shop? Short answer: Cafepress sucks. The end.

It's considerably easier to use Bountee in every respect. I bought one this week and am looking forward to seeing the quality. I'll be sure to let you know what I think.

And why did I remove my mark-up from my t-shirts? Well, I'm only selling 2-3 t-shirts a month, so why bother trying to make an extra 3 bucks off sales? I'm just glad to see people wearing them. In fact, if you've got pictures of yourself wearing my t-shirts, I started this Flickr group for just this reason.

Jupiter Project News

We've added the group-blog back onto the site. Our calendar feature is still active, so if you use Google Calendar or iCal you can easily subscribe to our events and keep abreast of things. We're also moving away from the JP having a primarily commercial focus; instead the focus will be on our art and personal projecs. Yes, our AAHHHRRTTT!

It just feels better that way.

Ryan Heshka
This man never stops working! Ryan has new work showing at the BLAB show at the Philip Slein Gallery in St Louis, MI. It's on right now, and runs until November 10th. The show includes work by Laura Levine, Travis Lampe, and Drew Friedman.

Rod Filbrandt
Rod was recently interviewed for Vancouver's Ink Studs podcast. It's a great interview. I even learned a few new things about Rod!
